McGrath Highland Dancers is a Scottish Highland Dancing studio located in Pickering, Ontario. It offers lessons for girls and boys ages 3 and up and both competitive and recreational programs are offered. Dancers learn traditional Scottish highland dances such as the Highland Fling and Sword Dance. The studio offers reasonable rates, and reduced rates for families with more than one dancer. Every dancer has the opportunity to participate in an annual recital and special awards are given out to recognize exceptional talent and efforts. Dancers also have the opportunity to participate in medal tests that are completed yearly through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D.). The studio also performs in various shows throughout the community.
