Tartan Tots

Tartan Tots is a pre-dance program for 3 and 4 year olds.   The goal of this program is to have fun while learning the basics of Highland Dance.   The classes consist of movements to improve balance, coordination, and rhythm.   These dancers have the opportunity to participate in Highland Dancing medal tests where upon successful completion they receive a medal and certificate from Scotland.   In addition, the Tartan Tot dancers will perform in the annual McGrath Highland Dancers recital in May of each year.

From the Tartan Tots program, dancers have the opportunity to move into either the recreational or competitive programs.
